Ian Barton was back for his second session of the year and yet again smashed it catching Siamese carp up to a new pb size of 212lb. He also caught two new species he has been after for some time namely tambaqui to over 40lb, and catla carp. Dennis Buch returned in December this time with Jimmy Tved Nielsen and it wasn't long before he hooked into the biggest carp in the lake at a monstrous 250lb. They also landed some very chunky Amazon redtail, as well as striped catfish and Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
Gavin amassed two t-shirters namely catching the 'Warrior' and the 'Friendly Mekong' when he came back in December. He also landed some other great fish that included a rare Chinese highfin catfish, black shark minnow, leopard catfish, alligator gar, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
 
 
 
Adam Kingshott visited us for the first time in December and had a great session catching a number of impressive fish that included Siamese carp, chao phraya catfish, alligator gar, the 'Friendly Mekong', catfish shark, striped catfish, and both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
It was a great visit for Dean McEwan on his long awaited return to Palm Tree in December as he landed a monstrous 400lb+ Mekong catfish to qualify for another Palm Tree Lagoon BIG Catfish Club t-shirt. In addition he also caught Siamese carp, alligator gar and more...
 
 
 
 
Noel Rinkenback returned in December with a couple of fishing buddies and had a great session catching a variety of great catches between them that included two Palm Tree BIG Fish Club qualyfiers namely the 'Friendly One' and 'The Warrior'. They also landed rohu, ripsaw catfish, alligator gar, black shark minnow, striped catfish, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
 
 
 
Sean Healy returned in December after a lengthy absence but it wasn't long before he was into the fish catching two new species for him namely catla carp and ripsaw catfish. He also landed a number of other great catches that included Mekong catfish, Siamese carp, chao phraya catfish, and both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
Adam Harris was back in December and joined us for Christmas and Boxing days. He thoroughly enjoyed himself catching a number of great Siamese carp as well as leopard catfish, Mekong catfish, striped catfish, as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.

Brad Pitty returned in December with his family and this time caught his first Chinese black carp. They also landed Mekong catfish, tambaqui, striped catfish, as well as both Amazon and Asian redtail.
 
 
 
 
John Harvey when he returned in December left it late in the session before landing an awesome pb Chinese black carp which he was well pleased with. It was an awesome catch of a pb Chinese black carp for Graham Wall when he returned in December. He also landed Mekong catfish, Siamese carp, and a plague of striped catfish.
 
 
 
 
Jonny Boye returned in December however, fishing was on the slow side due to a couple of cool nights but he still managed to land some Siamese carp and catla carp.
