The lake is located in Ratchaburi less than 2 hours drive west of Bangkok and 1.5 hours north of Hua Hin

You can also easily get to Ratchaburi by minibus, coach.or train (see Palm Tree Lagoon fishing prices page for details.)

 

 

Directions from Bangkok:

  • Cross Param VIII Bridge
  • Take road 338 to Nakhon Pathom
  • Road 338 merges with 4
  • Follow road 4 straight to Ratchaburi
  • Cross the river and turn right at the 3rd set of traffic lights (under the new flyover), at the big water pots on 3208
  • Palm Tree Lagoon is approx 2km on the left, look for the tiger at the side of the road between a shop and a restaurant.

  • Take road 4 North to Petchaburi
  • Then Carry on to Ratchgaburi
  • Turn left at the 2nd set of traffic lights (at the new flyover), at the big water pots on 3208
  • Palm Tree Lagoon is 2km on the left
