What a truly epic trip Vinnie Huermann had when he visited us for the first time in June. Yet again we have had to split the catch report into two after he landed well over a hundred fish included both the world’s biggest carp (last weighed at 252lb) and ‘The Warrior’ is the first half of the session. He also caught African walking catfish, albino chao Phraya, pacu, alligator gar, striped catfish as well as both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
 
 
 
Rick Crook had an epic second half to his session in June landing a splendid Chao Phraya catfish, an awesome Salawin rita, arapaima, a rarely caught wallago leeri and a ripsaw catfish just for starters. Derek Ewing was back in June for his bi-annual visit catching a variety of species that included an albino Chao Phraya catfish a new species for him and both ‘The Warrior’ and the ‘Friendly Mekong’. He also landed catla carp, alligator gar, wels catfish, albino pacu, pacu, mollycot, striped catfish, and both Asian and Amazon redtail.
 
 
 
 
John Wheeler returned in June accompanied this time by Richard Gray and they enjoyed a busy two days catching arapaima, Siamese carp, wallago leeri, alligator gar, chao Phraya catfish, striped catfish, as well as both Amazon and Asian redtail.
